                                                Welcome to

                        Debbie's Little Dog's

We are all about Yorkie's.  The Yorkshire Terrier is more like a child than a pet. They want to be by your side or in your lap. Happiness and companionship is what it is all about. There is only one Happiness in Life, To Love and Be Loved. So, if your worried about expense, remember, Yorkshire Terriers should live a life expectancy of 10 to 17 years. So, they are worth every penny of it. When I see the glow in everyone's eye and that special look on their face when they see my Yorkie's that makes me so happy and so very proud to be the breeder of these beautiful dogs.

I strive for beauty, healthy, small, yet structured yorkie's not tiny runts.
However, from time to time I have the tiny ones. I strive to breed quality with each litter. My Yorkie's are from very nice bloodlines that anyone would be proud to have. Pedigree's are available upon request. I breed high quality and pedigreed yorkie's according to the breed standard. All puppies are registered with AKC. That does not mean that you will get the AKC papers, you will need to talk to me about that.  I want to sell pet's, companions and new family members not soon to be breeding stock. I have many years of hard work in my yorkies. I have babies showing and going to show with AKC. I have sold females and they now have babies showing from my female. I breed and sell the quality of puppies that I would want to own myself. I decided a long time ago, after many miles and years of shopping for the quality I wanted in a Yorkie  that I wanted to be proud of and share the beauty of the Yorkie with everyone, it is something that is hard to get (a Beautiful Yorkie). Because that quality is very hard to get, not everyone has this quality. Quality does not happen by chance. Quality comes from quality yorkies. If you do not know about the breed you do not know what you are getting until they grow up and then it is to late, but you will love them all the same. Do your homework and buy from a trusted source. I am honest and proud of my integrity as well as my Yorkie's.

Always remember that Yorkshire Terriers require a lot of time and attention. The little so called tiny or runts really require special atte
ntion due to their size. Especially if they have the tiny bones. So be sure that they are going to fit in with your life style and family.

Below is a pic of a small boned female who lunged, jumped off her owners bed, many dollars later, a blue cast....Her puppy pic's are below her cast pic.

A Yorkshire terrier is a wonderful, affectionate, loving companion & friend that will provide you with many years of joy. It is your responsibility to provide your Yorkie with love and everything it needs, including proper grooming and to manage their coat and keep it healthy and looking its best. Yorkie's have no undercoat their hair is very much like humans. The beautiful coat is a silky texture, cold to the touch, glossy when older, perfectly straight and moderately long. The Yorkie's coat color is usually black and tan, black and gold, blue and tan, & blue and gold. They do not shed so, a Yorkie is great for anyone that dislikes dog hair on their possessions or has allergies.

A Yorkshire terrier's hair requires occasional clipping as it continuously grows and can become very long. Yorkie's require regular daily combing and brushing to prevent their hair from becoming matted and to keep the dog looking its best. When they become older with the long hair they will require a bath every 3 to 5 days, to keep them beautiful. You need to use a good moisture conditioning shampoo & conditioner rinse. I use (moistur)ologie Infusium. Yorkies are a inside dog not an outside dog.

The best type of brush to use on your Yorkie is a pin brush, or the Boar Hair brush is wonderful, yorkie's don't mind the boar brush at all, it is great. It is best to avoid nylon bristle brushes, natural bristle brushes, or ones that have a small ball on each pins end. These usually pull the dog's hair making it uncomfortable and ends up breaking the hair. Always mist your dog's hair with a little conditioner and water before brushing as you should not brush their hair when it is completely dry. Brush & Comb it like you would your own. If tangled brush it out in sections, a little at a time. Try not to let your long haired Yorkie scratch that really causes tangles and breaks their hair. You will love the beauty of the Yorkie! So will everyone that see's them.
